How It All Began

Membership Toolkit was created by two booster club volunteers for one reason: to minimize the amount of busy work that clogged their days, so they could spend more time doing what they loved. In 2009, Amy and Steve had the idea: what if we could create a solution?  In 2010, they put their idea to the test, and in return, they received rave reviews! In 2011, they formally launched Membership Toolkit, and it has been growing like gangbusters ever since. If you are ready to spend less time buried in paperwork, Membership Toolkit was built with you in mind!  

Founders and Friends

Amy
​President and Founder

Amy is a passionate volunteer and and energetic leader. When help is needed, she is usually the first to raise her hand. Amy served on PTA boards for 13 years and was president for 6 years at three schools. (What was she thinking?!)  She also served on her neighborhood's HOA board. Amy has organized large charity events, and created educational programs for children and teens—which means she is intimately familiar with the trials and joys of volunteer leadership.


In her free time Amy enjoys playing golf and cooking. She loves to travel and explore restaurants (from the local dives to gourmet fancy establishments). Amy graduated from Kansas State University with a degree in Architectural Engineering.


Steve
CTO and Co-Founder

It would take a page to tell you all that he has done — so we will cut to the chase. Steve is really, really good at developing software, solving problems, and designing user interfaces that are attractive and user-friendly. His sharp mind and quick wit make him a joy to work with, even when the tasks are thick and boggy.


Steve's three children keep him busy. He is an active volunteer at their schools and also at church. For fun, he deep-dives in photography and videography. He loves to "mix sound and pictures" to create works of art. Steve is a graduate of Texas Christian University (TCU) with a major in Computer Science. 


Caren
Director of Sales

Caren is full of life and always brings a joke or good story with her to the office. She likes to volunteer for— as she says— "the fun stuff," like selling spirit wear and planning school socials. Caren is responsible for new customers and is our go-to person if you have any questions about how Membership Toolkit can benefit you. Odds are, her warmth and energy and kindness will make you feel right at home. 


In her free time Caren enjoys spending time with her family, traveling and watching SEC football (don't hold that against her!). She graduated from University of Tennessee with a degree in Communications.


Nadine
Director of Customer Support

Passionate and energetic, Nadine is someone who is not afraid of a challenge —or a little work! And when it comes to understanding what non-profits, HOA’s, and parent organizations need to get organized and be successful, you can definitely count on her expertise.


Nadine is a board member for a local national charity league, and serves as their chapter president and district representative. Over the past 10 years, Nadine has held several chair positions on her HOA and PTA Boards. She was a founding member of a Parent Teacher Organization, and has led the fundraising charge for several schools. 


When she is not busy working or volunteering, Nadine enjoys running her kids to and from martial arts and dance classes. (Yes. She is supermom!)

Our passion is to help communities solve problems. We love a good challenge and are constantly improving our software. Our goal is to offer software that is easy to use, giving precious time back to our customers.
